Faith-Filled Explorations: Exploring the Vital Link between Oral Motor Development and Childhood Speech Sound Acquisition
In this webinar, attendees will be equipped with a deeper appreciation for the synergistic relationship between the speech mechanism, feeding proficiency, and optimal nutrition. The session will delve into how the human oral motor system is ingeniously engineered not only for communication but also for chewing and swallowing an array of textures and consistencies of food. Attendees will take away actionable knowledge to support children in their journey toward developing strong oral motor skills, conquering feeding challenges, and thriving with the right balance of hydration and nourishment.
