ELEA National Conference in Partnership with NAES Biennial
Every two years, Episcopal educators, leaders, and friends from around the country come together for three days of learning, community, worship, and reflection. The ELEA will again partner with NAES to bring together ELCA and Episcopal school and early childhood leaders together. November 18–20, 2026, we will convene under the theme “Be Still, and Know that I am God” (Psalm 46:11), inviting the community to rest in God’s presence and reflect on the sacred and vital work we do in Lutheran and Episcopal schools.
NAES is delighted to announce that the keynote speaker for Biennial Conference 2026 will be Dr. Lisa Miller, New York Times bestselling author of The Spiritual Child and The Awakened Brain, and professor of clinical psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. Founder of the Spirituality Mind Body Institute, Dr. Miller is a leading researcher on the link between spirituality and mental health, with work published in top journals including Cerebral Cortex and The American Journal of Psychiatry. Her insights bridge science and faith, offering a powerful and inspiring message for educators and faith leaders alike.
